AIRWAY & SLEEP / MYOFUNCTIONAL THERAPY
Personalized support for tongue posture, lip closure, swallowing, and nasal breathing habits.
Schedule an EvaluationUNDERSTANDING THE THERAPY
Myofunctional therapy uses guided exercises to build awareness and coordination of the tongue, lips, and other oral muscles.
After an individual evaluation, a plan may include practice for resting posture, swallowing patterns, lip closure, or breathing habits.
Care is tailored to each child or adult, one step at a time.

PERSONALIZED SUPPORT
An evaluation helps us understand the concern and decide whether guided exercises fit.
Oral habits such as tongue thrust, mouth breathing, or swallowing concerns may prompt a conversation.
Adults can ask about guided practice for oral posture and functional habits.
When appropriate, exercises may be part of follow-up after a tongue-tie evaluation or release.
HOW CARE WORKS
Talk through concerns and observe how the oral muscles function.
Learn manageable exercises chosen for the individual.
Review progress and adjust the plan as needed.
Therapy may be coordinated with other dental or medical care when appropriate.
COMMON QUESTIONS
We listen to your concerns and look at tongue, lip, and swallowing patterns. The team then discusses whether therapy or another type of evaluation makes sense.
Yes. The practice works with children and adults. Exercises and follow-up depend on the person's age, needs, and evaluation.
A care plan may include short exercises for tongue resting posture, lip closure, or swallowing patterns. The team teaches each exercise and explains how to practice it safely.
Sometimes. Following a release, the team may suggest exercises as part of a coordinated plan. A release or exercises alone cannot guarantee a particular result.
It may be discussed alongside orthodontic care or a broader sleep-care plan. It does not replace a medical evaluation or treatment for suspected sleep apnea.
